Civil Works Operative

Key responsibilities:

Assist the land surveyors and instrumentation and monitoring engineers in the following tasks (this list is not intended to cover every task that the role may require): 

  • Taking readings of monitoring points on site. 
  • Installation of instrumentation devices. 
  • Taking care and maintenance of the surveying instruments.

Job Conditions

  • Contract type: Permanent. (3 months probatory period)
  • Normal working hours: Monday to Friday daily shift. Work in nightshift and Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday will be paid as overtime.
  • Pension scheme: 6%.
  • Salary: £25,500
  • 24 days of holiday per year plus UK Bank Holidays.

Junior / Graduate Land Surveyor

  • Previous experience working on civil works projects, will be preferred but not excluding.

Senior Programmer / Analyst (Spanish required)

We are a Geotechnical and Instrumentation & Monitoring specialised Company looking for a Senior Programmer / Analyst. The person selected will work on the HS2 project, the new high-speed rail network in the United Kingdom.For this role, a good level of Spanish will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and development of Monitoring databases for our Integrated Real Time Data Management System, deployed in several civil engineering projects.
  • Logical maintenance of our virtual platform.
  • Development and Maintenance of new and existing applications.

Requirements

  • Senior programmer in VS .net (C#, ASP .Net core, Javascript or Full stack(Angular, React, Blazor)).
  • Web Map GIS / WebMapping.
  • Source code control (GIT or another platform).
  • VBA.
  • Database (SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo DB, Maria DB).

The ideal candidate will have previous Senior Programmer / Analyst experience or have worked in a similar role, and have a good level of Spanish and English.

Junior Building Surveyor

Geotechnical specialised company focus on land, buildings and site engineering works is looking for a Junior Building Surveyor for a major civil works project in Central London.

Skills Required

  • Experience in Dilapidation surveys, Condition and Pre- Condition Surveys, Schedule of condition.
  • Works confidently in a team.
  • Flexibility to work in an office and on site/ visiting the assets.
  • Use of Office package.
